In the role of Sr. Vendor Manager, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all contracts within the organization. You will strive to cultivate an optimal relationship with service providers and various stakeholders. You will be part of the Finance department and your activities include amongst others:


  • Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with vendors
  • Reviewing new vendors and their products/services
  • Negotiating product pricing and contracts / service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors/suppliers
  • Communicating product-related issues and concerns to vendors
  • Researching new vendors in the market
  • Formulating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the quality of the service provided by vendors.
  • Monitoring these KPIs on a regular basis (as often as needed) to ensure there are no breaches of the SLA and the quality of the service is top -notch.
  • Developing and implementing vendor selection programs and a due diligence process engaging all relevant stakeholders across the organization.
  • Communicating vendor responsibilities and obligations
  • Establishing vendor performance standards and suggesting improvements
  • Acting as an intermediary between vendors and stakeholders
  • Coordinating all vendor management activities and processes
  • Troubleshooting any vendor issues
  • Suggesting vendor management processes, policies, and methods
  • Updating, renewing, and canceling vendor contracts / SLAs whenever needed
  • Maintaining and updating all vendor documentation
  • Updating contract terms of existing vendors
  • Designing business guidelines for vendors
  • Ensuring all vendor activities adhere to our company policies

Job requirements


What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of European laws and regulations
  • Previous work experience as a Vendor Manager/Procurement Manager or similar role
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good research skills
  • IT background highly preferred
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Having an eye for detail
  • Quick decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to offer improved customer service
